David Thompson is an attorney with extensive experience in litigation, legal education, and public service. A graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law (1993), he spent nearly seven years as a Partner at Pierson Fitchett Hunzeker Blake & Katt before founding Thompson Law PC LLO, where he has practiced for nearly two decades.
In addition to his practice, David serves as a Lecturer in Pretrial Litigation at the College of Law, where he teaches students practical courtroom skills and strategies. His background also includes service as a Deputy County Attorney for Lincoln County.
David’s experience spans contract law, litigation, and attorney training. At the Nebraska Children’s Justice and Legal Advocacy Center, he contributes to attorney education initiatives and works to strengthen high-quality advocacy for children and families across Nebraska.
